Alamosa, Colorado's first bank is on the corner of 6th (Sixth) and Hunt Streets. The building later became the First National Bank, then the Rio Grande Hotel. The two-story brick corner building has a corbeled cornice, large pane windows with radiating voussiors and stone keystones and sills, and a corner entry door with transom window. Four men stand in front of the building on a raised boardwalk. One of the men wears a top hat.
