black

paneled
front
door
and
part
of the
second
story
of the
brick
Teller
House
are
visible
in the
image
. The
arched
doorway
has a
sign
that
reads
"
Teller
House
"
arched
over
the
door
.
Two
wrought
iron
gas
lights
are on
either
side
of the
door
and a
wrought
iron
light
with
gas
panels
hangs
it
. An
arched
window
is
to the
left
of the
door
that
reads
"
Historic
Teller
House
Closed
for the
Season.
" The
rectangular
windows
on the
second
story
have
sills
. The
steps
in
front
of the
building
are
covered
with
snow
, and a
wood
plank
sidewalk
runs
along
the
street
in
front
of the
building
.
Snow
and
slush
are
next
to the
sidewalk
along
unpaved
Eureka
Street
. The
Victorian
hotel
was
built
in
1871
and was, at
one
time
,
considered
the
most
elegant
and
lavishly
furnished
hotel
outside
of
Denver
in the
Colorado
Territory
.
