Summary	View taken from above of four soldiers from the 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment (re-enforced) Test Expedition, belonging to Rope One, led by Peter Gabriel, other members included Captain Albert Jackman and the photographer. They stand near two pyramid tents, which were being tested for effectiveness. The tents are pitched in small clearings in the snow with the extra snow piled on to one side for protection. Bags of equipment, backpacks and skis are stored outside the tents. The men are wearing anoraks with the hoods up, wool pants and shoe-packs.
