Summary	Thirteen men, expedition team members, and porters from the 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment (re-enforced) prepare to leave Camp Muir, also known as Camp One during the Mount Rainier expedition lead by Captain Albert Jackman to test field equipment and mountain rations. The men are grouped around the stone cabin that is Camp Muir. The men stand amid skis and bundles of equipment. All are wearing dark khaki anoraks, dark shirts, light khaki pants, and shoe-packs. The sun is shining, snow covers the ground and thick clouds obscure the landscape below. A cone-shaped, snow- covered mountain is visible in the distance.
