Summary
Eight men walk in a straight line on a trail across a snow covered field. According to the caption, they are both walking wounded and a litter squad, accompanying a wounded enemy soldier on a litter to the Tenth Mountain Division, 85th Mountain Infantry, 1st Battalion aid station in a farm house in the Mount Belvedere area during the Italian Campaign. All are in battle fatigues and the litter squad members have crosses painted on their helmets.
