Summary
Columns of soldiers march down a crowded tree lined avenue as paper falls from the sky. A soldier in the center of the image is carrying the American flag. According to the caption: "A platoon and the Colorguard of the 10th Mountain Division lead troops of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force down Avenida Rio Braneo in celebration of the B.E.F's return to Rio de Janeiro. The units had fought together during the Italian campaign."
