View from Sun Temple, across Cliff Canyon, to Cliff Palace, Mesa Verde National Park, Montezuma County, southwestern Colorado. The 13th century pueblo culture's masonry dwellings were built under a sandstone cliff overhang on Chapin Mesa and consists of over two hundred rooms, including 23 kivas.
