'Scenic Route of the World.' Altitude 8,600 ft from the sea. Red Cliff, Eagle County, Colo. as it was in the 1880's. In background is Battle Mountain. To the right is Horn Silver Mountain. Denver and Rio Grande curves through the town. 1. Church 2. Eagle Hotel, since burned down 3. Quartzite Hotel 4. Star Hotel 5. home of Dr. A. G.
