Summary
The Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Hospital in Salida, Chaffee County, Colorado, is a brick building with a terra-cotta roof, balcony and porch. A frieze of garlands is topped by wide eaves. Men pose on the terrace, by a stained glass window depicting Jesus healing the sick. An east-wing dormer is under construction. Railroad buildings and a covered wagon are in the background.
