Notes	Hand-written on back: "Mumm Brothers Sampling Works bet. 2d St. & River."; Printed on back: "A kind of mountain basin, the bottom of which is formed by the heaps of rocks that have fallen from the steep sides of the mountains, forming the walls of the basin on three sides. The bottom, in the course of thousands of years, has crumbled to sand at its surface and vegetation has taken possession of it. The highly interesting nook is well hidden and connot bye reached except by stage from Red Mountain, twelve miles away. Red Mountain is reached by the Silverton Railroad, one of the most extraordingary feats of engineering in America, ascending over Red Mountain (13,335 feet). The line winds backward and forward like the trail of a serpent. The scenery is of the grandest description and the view from the summit is superb. The descent is as wonderful as the ascent. Ouray is famous for its grand scenery and its hot medicinal springs."; Title printed on stereo card; at head of title: "1239."; R7100125974
