The mules drag poles from the McMahon Lumber Company, located by the Rio Grande Southern narrow gauge railroad. Signs on businesses read: "The Daily Journal, Insurance, Abstracts of Title, Mining" "Examiner, Printing" and "Furnished Rooms"
