Summary	A variety of signs hang perpendicular to buildings and are large as part of the automobile age in advertising. On the right side, there are "G.Z. Garage Storage" "Texaco, gasoline, motor oil" "Cities Service" "Hotel Vendome" "Bus Depot" "Leadville Pharmacy" "Pool, Coors, Rooms" a theater marquee "Mickey Rooney, Lewis Stone, The Hardy's Ride High and Chan in Reno" "Speedway Gas" "Western Hdw." "Candy" "Drugs" "John L. Jorgensen, tailoring" "Cafe" and "Coca-cola." Signs on the left side of the street include "Furniture" "Dentist" "Crews-Beggs, Frigidaire" "F.J. Mund, Optometrist', "Manhattan Cafe" with "Schlitz on draught" "Western Union" "Miller's Lunch Cafe" "Drugs" "Kobos, fine liquors, cocktail lounge, cafe, Budweiser" "Betty's Cafe" and "Robert's Variety." Cars are parked diagonally along the paved street and are in motion on the street. A fluffy dog stands at the rear tire of one car. A car in the foreground has a photographer's logo "O. Roach, Distinctive Photography, Denver" painted on the back side window. There are a few pedestrians on the sidewalk.; This view looking south on Harrison Avenue in Leadville, Colorado, includes several landmark buildings. The Blosfeld brick building, the firehouse with its garage doors open, the Hotel Vendome (Tabor Grand Hotel) and the Delaware Hotel with their mansard roofs, the old Lake County Courthouse with Lady Justice and the American National Bank with its corner tower dome are all included.
