Passing through Morrison (Jefferson County), Colorado, are an engine, freight and passenger coach of the Colorado and Southern Railroad. A two-story, cross gabled residence with an open porch (probably a hotel) is to the side, and the three-story stone hotel (built by George Morrison in 1874) is on the rise in the background.
