Morrison early 1870's looking west in foreground to right of white bldg is framing of original Methodist Church. Large 3 story bldg at right center is Cliff House (Hotel). D.S.P. & P. Railway depot, turntable in center to left of depot on bank of Bear Creek is resort dance pavilion. On hill at left is Evergreen House (later called Swiss Cottage) built by Gov. John Evans as resort hotel. Lime kiln (with tower) of Morrison Stone Lime & Co is at right of center at base of white rocks. Across Bear Creek from lime kiln is livery stable. [sic]
