A man ties his horse-drawn carriage on front post of the Emerson and Buckingham Bank, Longmont, Colorado. "Opened in April 1871, this frame building, with living quarters upstairs, was in the 300 block of Main, on the west side of street. It was replaced about 1875 with a new brick building, also having living quarters on second floor. Upstairs fire-place, of marble, is preserved at Longmont Museum. Main part of frame building was moved to west Third Avenue, and is now part of Booth Apartments."
