This view of a carpentergothic two story house in Leadville, Colorado features a side gable with a one story addition on the back, a wood shingle roof, a brick chimney, a stone foundation and two second story window dormers cut into the roofline. A front porch with decorative brackets runs the length of the facade. The entry door with transom is flanked by two windows. A projecting bay window on the side facade has a single double hung window above and an addition with a porch and wood steps. A tall ladder leans against the side of the front porch roof, probably to be used for cleaning snow off of the roof. A large snow bank is in front of the house and a pile of twistedantlers is on the porch.
