A Native American (Sioux) saddle blanket, made from white canvas and buckskin. It is decorated with red, blue, yellow, green, bronze and white faceted Italian glass beadwork and faceted brass beads; all of the beadwork is attached with lazy stitching. Fringe is on the front and back edges, and there is a strip of calico blue binding on one side edge. The images in the beadwork are of triangles and crosses.
