Summary	View of Union Square in San Francisco, California. The park has trees, palm trees, yucca plants, a Joshua tree and bushes. Men, women and boys lounge on the grass, on park benches and near the Dewey Monument. The monument is 79 foot granite Corinthian column surmounted by an 18 foot pedestal with a bronze statue of Victory. The woman holds a wreath in one hand and a trident in the other. Shows commercial buildings and horse-drawn wagons and carriages on Geary Street. The Heine Piano Co., is constructed of wood and has a balconet over a bay window, a cornice with pediments, modillions, plaster swags, and window surrounds with pediments. The Cordes Furniture Co. is brick, with voussoir arch window surrounds, a stepped pediment, modillions and quoins. The John Breuner Company, a furniture store, is in the Behlow Building. The brick building has a parapet, a cornice with decorative coursing, decorative molding with ornate window surrounds, pilasters and balconets with modillions. Signs read: "Heine Piano Co." " The Geary" "Waldorf" "Cordes Furniture Co." "Home Furnishers" "Bedding. Furniture, Pictures" "Clocks, Draperies, Lamps" "Carpets, Linoleums, Rugs" "Regal Ranges" "Your Credit is Good" "Behlow Building" "John Breuner Company." Wooden false front buildings are near the businesses. An unfinished building and the dome of City Hall are in the distance.
