Summary	Cartoon drawing of people in a horse-drawn stagecoach on a rutted mountain road between Rifle and Meeker. Text below the cartoon reads: "This picture was suggested by the following card from the manager of the Rifle-Meeker stage line to Assistant Superintendent Brown, following a trip to Meeker by Mr. Murray MacNeill, Construction Engineer: Dear Sir: - If you keep increasing the size of the men you send over here will have to raise the rate and put on flat cars to haul them. Now don't do it any more. The roads are too muddy to pull big loads. Yours, "SALTY."
