Summary	Louise Campa, Lucille Campa, a well known dancer and teacher of Mexican, Spanish classical dance and flamenco, poses in a classical style Spanish dance costume. She wears a dark top and a silk scarf decorated with fringe, a full, mid-length, paisley skirt with an apron trimmed with fine, stiff lace, ballet slippers and she holds castanets. Louise Campa was the wife of Professor Arthur L. Campa, Sr., and author, renowned scholar, historian and professor of cultural anthropology.

Lucille Campa began her career in Denver as a dance instructor in 1946, teaching initially at the Univ of Denver & after 1950 as a private instructor in her home in SE Denver, where she had a dance studio built in her home on So Madison & East Evans. She formed the first ballet folklorico in Denver, known as the Ballet Español, with students as Lena Archuleta, Patty Roybal, Sandra Santa Cruz, Jeanette Trujillo, & others who went on to become professional artists.
