Summary	Studio portrait of Magdalena Córdova, daughter of Juan Bautista Córdova, and his wife, María Quirina Sánches. Magdalena wears a long dress with leg of mutton sleeves, and velvet trim. Her hair is curled and pulled back. She stands beside her father who is seated in a chair; he wears a suit and bow tie, his hair is receding and he is clean shaven. His wife, María wears a dark silk dress with slightly puffed sleeves and a crocheted bertha collar.

Notes	Content derived from inventory prepared by Dana EchoHawk.; From inventory: "Juan Bautista Córdova was born in 1830. In his early years, Juan freighted for the U.S. Army making annual trips to St. Louis, Missouri hauling freight for the Fort Garland Army Post. He married María Quirina Sánches and they raised their daughter Magdalena in the confines of the Purgatory Canyon. He established Red Rocks Plaza (known as Piedras Coloradas), referred to as the Cordova Plaza. The Plaza was composed of an extended family with Juan serving as patron. He relocated to Hoehne and Model, Colorado, and in 1910 the plaza was abandoned."
