View of the City and County of Denver Police Administration Building, now the City and County of Denver Theatres and Arenas Administrative Offices, at 1245 Champa Street, in the Central Business District neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows the Champa Street (front) elevation. This four-story Art Moderne building constructed of light colored brick and concrete has curved corners. The windows on the forth floor are glass block. The roof is flat with a ledge (coping) at the roof line. There are also ledges (coping) above and below the windows on each floor. Designed by George Musick, E. O. Morris, and Charles F. Pillsbury, the building was constructed in 1939 as a PWA New Deal project.
