Summary	Hispanic American Francisco Gallegos, a sheep and cattle rancher, poses on horseback in San Luis, Colorado. He wear a jacket, tie and round brimmed hat, his saddle blanket is a jerga, a woven Hispanic textile in a herringbone and check pattern. The three adobe structures in the distance are the Gallegos and Vigil Saloon (left), the Costilla County Court House (center), and the Gallegos House (right).
