Portrait of Hispanic American husband and wife, José Estevan Vigil and his wife María Isabel Manzanares de Vigil, Walsenburg (Huerfano County), Colorado. They pose on the front steps of their adobe house. María stands next to her husband. She wears a long dress with a fabric belt and a metal buckle. Her hair is full and pulled back. José, a farmer, wears a jacket and holds his cowboy hat in his hands.
