Summary
View of the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center, also known as Rocky Mountain National Park Administration Building, located in the park on Moraine Avenue. Completed in 1967 as part of the National Park Service's Mission 66 program, the structure was designed by Taliesen Associated Architects. The building reflects design principles typical both of the National Park Service Modern style developed by the Mission 66 program and Wrightian principles of design advocated by the apprentices who began Taliesen Associated Architects after Frank Lloyd Wright's death in 1959. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is designated a National Historic Landmark.
