              ARTICLES OP INCORPORATION
CAPITOL HILL UNITED NEIGHBORHOODS, INC.
The undersigned persons, citizens of the United
States, acting as incorporators of a corporation under
the Colorado Nonprofit Corporation Act (Article 24, Chapter 31>
Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963* as amended), sign and
acknowledge the following Articles of Incorporation for
such corporation:
FIRST:  The name of the corporation shall be Capitol
Hill United Neighborhoods, Inc.
SECOND: The corporation shall be perpetual in
duration.
THIRD: The purposes for which the corporation
is organized are:
1. To maintain and improve the community of "Capitol
Hill11 in Denver, Colorado, to encourage community pride,
awareness, and involvement in the community.
2. To foster brotherhood and better understanding
between persons of different economic levels, races, creeds,
and ethnic backgrounds through community cooperation,
coordination, and education.
3* To initiate and support projects designed to
eliminate prejudice and discrimination both within and
without the Capitol Hill community.
4. To work for better schools to assure that
children of all races, creeds, and ethnic backgrounds
will receive high quality education.
5. To work for better cultural, recreational,
educationalT  and civic programs for adults of diverse
backgrounds to promote civic responsibility and understanding
of government.
