There's still time to
enter contest
Don't forget you have till midnight March 19, to mail your entry to our name contest. At the
present time we have over one
hundred entries and more coming
in every day. Helen and I have
enjoyed reading the many comments which you folks have written along with your entries. Time
does not permit our answering all
of them personally but we want
you to know that they are being
read and appreciated. Let us hear
from all of you. If you have any
suggestions that you think will improve our little paper we would
like to know about them, too. The
only way we will know that any
one is reading it is from the letters you write or from your phone
calls, lets have lots of them. Sit
down right now, write your suggestion on a card or letter and
mail it today.
The rules are very few. Anyone
receiving a copy of this publication is eligible to enter. You may
send in as many entries as you
wish. In case of duplicate entries
the one bearing the earliest post
mark will win. Just write your
suggestion on a post card or letter together with your name, address and phone number and mail
to The Monarch Press, 920 East
17th Avenue, Denver 18, Colorado.
All entries will become the property of the Monarch Press. We reserve the right to use the name as
you suggest it or to change it or
combine it with ideas of others or
our own. BUT REGARDLESS
SOMEONE NOT CONNECTED
WITH THE MONARCH PRESS .
WILL RECEIVE THE SAVINGS
BOND. We will be the sole judges, i
The Contest will end on midnight of the 19th day of March
1954. A picture of the winner and

Meet Charles R. Patch. Charles
is probably one of the oldest neighbors in terms of the time he has
lived here. His father helped plat
part of this neighborhood, and
built the first house on Emerson
back in 1886. Four years later
Charles was born and grew up at
1938 Emerson. He attended the old
Corona grade school, Manual
Training High School and is a
graduate of the University of Colorado. Spent twenty-five years in
banking circles, going into the insurance business in 1931, and three
years ago came back to our neighborhood to establish The Denver
Insurance Agency at 1579 Emerson, writing general insurance.
One of the companies he represents is Safeco, who makes it pos
sible for careful drivers to make
a substantial saving on their auto
insurance. It will pay you to call
Charles and get full details.
