WHAT  PLYMOUTH  HAD  IN  1892.
Two lots.
A frame chapel seating 150.
A membership of less than 100.
WHAT PLYMOUTH HAS  TO-DAY.
A fine corner of six and a half lots.
A chapel seating 400.
A membership of 430.
A congregation that crowds the chapel.
A remarkable field for usefulness.
WHAT PLYMOUTH OUGHT* TO HAVE.
An auditorium suited to the needs of
our constantly growing congregation.
A pipe  organ.
WHAT PLYMOUTH CAN DO.
Buy a pipe organ for $3,000.
Build an auditorium for $20,000, and
thus multiply its influence and usefulness in the city and the state.
HOW  PLYMOUTH   CAN   DO   IT.
Try in earnest.
The $20,000 could be raised by 400 subscriptions of $50 each.
$50 can be raised in a year by laying
aside 14 cents per day, or $1 per
week, or $4.25 per month.
Some can not give as much, many can
give more.
WHAT IS OUR DUTY?
To do what we can.
To make sacrifices for  God's  work.
NOTICES.
The Juniors will meet this afternoon
at 3:30 o'clock to enjoy their second
trip through Colorado. Donald McLean, leader.
The Young People's meeting begins
this evening at 6:30. All young people are welcome.
Evening worship at 7:30 to-night.
Mid-week social meeting on Wednes
day evening at 7:45. At this meeting-
two additional deacons and the same
number of deaconesses will be chosen,
the church having voted last week to
increase the number of these officers.
The monthly mothers' meeting will
be held on Thursday morning at 10
o'clock. All ladies interested in the
life of children are invited to attend.
On Friday at 3 p. m. the Congrega-
lional Ladies' Union Missionary meeting will be held in Plymouth Church.
Don't fail to read the notice of the
Young Ladies' Auxilary Avhich follows.
That "Blue Print Social" will be a
novel and delightful thing.
SPECIAL NOTICES.
The Sunday School librarian requests that all who have books from
the library at their homes will kindly
return :hem next Sunday.
The Juniois invite all ladies of the
congregation to aid them in getting up
a Plymouth Cook Book. Please send
tested recipes of any kind to Mrs. E.
P. Wright, 1424 Clayton avenue, as
soon as possible.
A   BLUE   PRINT   SOCIAL.
The Young Ladies' Auxiliary invite
the members of the church and congregation for a blue print social and autograph evening, Tuesday, February 1st,
at 8 o'clock.
They have prepared an interesting
and novel entertainment. Admittance,
rive cents. Refreshments served free.
Please all come, and you will have a
hearty welcome and a chance for great
sociability. Bring all your spare nickels and dimes, for choice views of
Mountain, river and plain, spring and
summer fioAvers will tempt you to carry away many a souvenir of what we
